I think this is a great idea!!

I got a 1949 Domestic for my grandaughter in a case just like this. She really likes it!!

Nancy
Nancy I second this!! I am hoping DH will come with me to the next TOGA, if he can get off work. We'll see. He wants to take one of Ray White's classes, so he may be interested in the TOGA if we can get enough demos on rehab-ing the machines.

PS...LOVE the BOO BEES!!! Too cute!! You guys always make me laugh!

There are neighborhoods in Baltimore that the women may still "do" their hair.
There is even a festival where they get all dolled up called the Hon Fest.

Link to this years Hon Fest: http://www.honfest.net/whatis.html

I have never attended a Hon Fest, but this festival occurs in a neighborhood close to Johns Hopkins University.
If you seen the tv show Ace of Cakes, the Charm City Cakes that Duff owns is located in this neighborhood called Hampden. Hampden has a street called the Avenue with wonderful "junk" shops.

I'm going to have to find a 1960s White sewing machine to go with beehive hairdo.
I already own a couple of e-machines from the 60s, but they are missing the look.
