mike on the 22 v potted motor that going off the singer manual... so there was a 1/4 hp motor, that worked as a ac/dc motor ?

I have seen a dd photo of a 31-15, it had the motor mounted on top teh table it didn't appear to have a clutch

plus on here and in live have ask any about the mount on a 31 series machine,, again I saw a photo of one that had a motor mounted there. That motor looked to be about the size of one used on today long arm quilters, by that I talking about commercial long arm quilters not the type sold to home owners. so physically about 1/2 as big as a 1/4 motor

The potted geared machines can take the 1/4HP motor? I thought the point of all the people wanting to rewire the motors is that they cannot take off the potted motor that is already there.
Barrows was a major custom manufacturer of drapery, sheets, blankets, quilts and other things household.
I don't know if they are still in business or not.

I have been looking at Greyhound and trying to work out whether it would fit as a piece of checked luggage when taken apart!

Someone else put in a second bid. Not me.

And by word of husband it will not fit in the Saturn even when taken apart. Please rewire and enjoy it whoever gets it. I will go back to sewing machine plan B for this week.

hate to tell you BUTT that thing will fit right in that saturn. 4 screws hold the top to the frame, 4 screws hold that frame together. the thing is under 2 feet by 3 feet 19 x 36 x 38 it would fit in the front seat

Plan B is "continue to get overbid on machines closer to home" so it seems.
