Any machine older than me is antique if it is younger is vintage. Growing old in not for the timid....

My machines become 'vintage' when I want a newer one!

Seriously, I do have two vintage machines. One I used for about a year, loved the way it stitched, but the thread kept getting caught when I started piecing, even when I moved the fabric about 1/4 inch in from the back of the foot. Now it's my second back up machine.

The other was given to me by a friend. It's in the case and I have never looked at it. It's been there for several years.

I guess I don't have the vintage machine bug.

Oh my gosh, that is a fantastic machine. Very similar to the Kenmore I learned to sew on.
    As I remember VERY HEAVY.
