Free parts, cams, pedal, manual for Kenmore 90
Hi Group,
I saw a local ad for free accessories, cams, etc (everything but the machine) for a Kenmore 90.
I thought this could be very useful to someone here who may have a machine but be in need of the parts!
If it is of use to anyone, please PM me and I will facilitate it if I can. (i.e. put you in touch with the local ad).
Do PM though, because I won't necessarily see a reply if it is on this thread.

What is a Kenmore 90? That is a series I do not recognize. I might be curious if I know what model it was for.
Like maybe 158-15000 or something like that. I don't even have any charts that tell what a 90 might be.
Maybe somebody can educate me.

Thanks for the picture, but that still doesn't tell me anything. Kenmores ran in series, with lots of family resemblance.
But each model had it's own quirks. Some shared accessories and controls so they could use the same manual.
That's why the manuals had the short number on them.

I am sorry I don't know more about model numbers. The person no longer has the machine, just the loot. Here are all the photos of the loot:
I have contacted the ad-placer and have expressed interest. I am sure I can share it with someone who can use it! I wonder if any of this loot will be compatible with my 15 clone, or my Elna Supermatic? My machines are all low shanks, as far as I know. Kenmore, are they high shank? Would that even matter when it comes to some of this stuff?

That loot looks to be for a 158 series machine.
The first part is a circle stitch which I don't have one.
The second part is a button holler. It will fit only Kenmores with the button holler drive under the slide plate. You remove the regular slide plate and instal that one. It actually has a mechanical drive in it to drive the button holler.
The third piece is a set of cams with their ID chart. I don't know which model those fit. They don't match any of my Kenmores.
The box of goodies does have some class 15 bobbins in it. Those will fit your 15 clone, but I don't know about the Elna. If the feet are low shank they'll also fit the clone.
The foot controller is specific to Kenmores and White made machines. If the wires are good don't cut 'em.
You have a few pieces there I'd be interested in.
