I love all the name suggestions! I will be keeping them in mind when I disassemble and reassemble her! I have found some tools that I need to get and some other things before I start..... and then I need to learn to rewire.... It will be a journey!

I bid on a really rough Pfaff 130 over the weekend. (I quit when it got past the point I was willing to pay for a project machine.) I had the same inclination to re-do it. Glad you have one.
My first thought was Pfoebe, too.

"I would like to rewire her and take her apart to paint her and shine her up. "
I have three Pfaffs and I love them! But please don't paint your 130...

With the exception of the wads of black electrical tape, like safety pins in the underwear, I'd say she looks pretty good. From what I have read, a Pfaff 130 is very desirable, especially one in such good shape. I have a Pfaff 30 that I liken to the Singer 185J. Such smooth sewing. May you and your new partner in stitching have many miles of thread together without a single snarl or tangle.
