    Question Quilting a hexigon quilt

I am making a scrap hexigon quilt using my scraps from other projects. I am at a loss as how to quilt this project. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to quilt this?

I just stitch in the ditch. I just hate to think of an all over pattern since in my opinion, it would distract from the beauty of the quilt. Good Luck.

My hexi quilt is a Grandmothers flower garden. I hand quilted around each of the flowers. It took a long time to quilt but is one of my favorites.

Are you hand or machine quilting? Hand quilting is usually done 1/4 inch inside each seam. For machine quilting I would take a look at the chart someone posted on QB for quilting OBW quilts. They are hexagons on a larger scale but the designs would work on smaller hexagons as well.

It would depend on the size of the hexies and pattern used. I tend to SID on machine with zig zag or 1/4 inside seams on hand quilting. I have not done any of the big hexies yet though.
