Default New tip I just heard about

Here's another tip that I just heard about today. If you ever have left over binding from making a quilt, don't toss it away. You can use it as leaders/enders for your other projects.

Great Idea! I am sure there are other uses for those left over pieces of binding.

I’ve used tons of leftover bindings when I make string pieced quilts..or scrappy quilts...or rail fence blocks ,etc

I always keep mine to use in scrappy quilts.

My binding is cut 2 1/2". Perfect to make 2 1/2" square or 2 1/2" strip sets.

I had a plastic shoe box full of leftover bindings. I saved it but never used it and no one at sew day wanted it. I left it there so I guess someone either took it or tossed it. I don't remember I have stuff like this stashed away until I happen to find it when looking for something else.

I keep my leftover bindings in a zip lock bag and use them to bind small projects like pot holders.
