It's amazing to me that people will do "for charity" what they would not dream of doing for themselves. I have a client who works for a thrift shop, and he says that half of what they receive in charitable donations has to be thrown into the garbage.

Your quilt is beautiful -- even as it is. I just hope that this woman is not doing quilting for others (i.e., a business). But remember too that you had the joy of making a beautiful quilt, and the pleasure of giving it for someone else to enjoy. Sometimes we do things for the pleasure it gives US, rather than for the pleasure that someone else will get from it.

Also, don't discount the other ladies. THEY didn't do it. However, I would not allow this quilter to have access to any of my work.
