I can't imagine why someone would do something like that to such a pretty quilt. Did you ask her about it? She has got to be a french frie short of a happy meal.
Is it possible to take off the binding and add the border to the other side or are you out of fabric? I know it would be a big job to do that but just thought I'd ask.
