I have Revere Ware and Cast Iron. That is what I have used for the last 40 yrs. and when I got my ceramic top stove, the information with it said not to use those two.
But I do. The copper pan bottoms have warped more and once in a while, will do a little jig dance while cooking. The cast iron does ok, but cant slide it off the burner, have to pick it up and move it.
I get a lot of black marks on my top and don't think it is all from cooking. I think it is probably caused from using the wrong pans.
