I don't have the quilt - it's in the hands of the 'group'
Believe me, I gave serious - very serious, consideration to doing just that - getting the quilt, taking that side aberration off and just binding that edge... but you know what? The more I thought about it the more I decided that, no, I'm not going to... why should I have to fix what she messed up?
This group has been around as a 'service' group for over 50 years and we are in the deep, deep south... and I guess they just don't want me and mine around.... (I have an adult handicapped daughter who also goes to the meetings - she is mildly mentally handicapped and is not obviously impaired - but is)
I talked to one of the women yesterday and asked her, "how am I supposed to react to this?" and her first words were 'don't let it run you out of the group'
well up until then I hadn't even thought about it like that, but ya know, sometimes I can be extremely naive and maybe that was the whole point???
if so, it's probably been very effective and successful :!:
