I would suggest that you find a fabric that you like....something with a touch of orange but not overwhelming. If it is an accent color in the fabric, you'll pick up the color of the curtains without the quilt being overwhelming in the room. You want the quilt to flow with the room, not overtake it.
The pattern isn't the key, it's the fabric you choose. Be sure to post a picture when you finish it!
