Holice, you are right on the money....my lqs purchases fabric for $1.50-2.5- per yard (quality Mfgs.) and sells for $4.99.
I was doing a BOM at another shop and happened to be in my lqs and to my surprise there was the fabric in my Block of the Month project. I had paid $9.00 at the BOM shop and it was $4.99 at my lqs...so sometimes, the wholesalers do get current runs. The cost of cotton has continued to rise since last year and it still trending up due to high demand and low supply. The cost of shipping has gone up due to Oil prices. The USA needs to do more in the way of domestic drilling rather than depending on foreign oil. This would bring down the cost of EVERYTHING. Diana
