I tried to join, went to 3 different quilds and decided that was not for me. No one ever spoke to us, my daughter and I. All they seemed interested in was show and tell and what treat we were going to have next week and who was going to fix it. They also cooked big dinners for the upper class of politicians and then wanted us to provide the food, out of our own pockets, and they to serve these people and clean up after them.
I really wanted to learn new tricks for quilting. Didn't happen.
