Well see, I do that, buy a FQ or more likely several that go together, and then put them with my other FQs so neat and pretty, all arranged and grouped, and then go cut my older scraps and yardages. It seems that FQs are for collecting, not actually making things out of - why, you'd have to CUT one to make something from it!! What's that all about eh.
I'm like that big floppy dumb dog character in, I think, one of the Bugs Bunny cartoons, or maybe it was Baby Huey: when someone asks me what I'm going to do with all those squares of fabric, I say "I'm going to squeeze them, and pat them, and call them George."
