I have an ironing board that was bought in the '70, the left side is expendable, underneath there's an handle that you turn and it pops an extension on each side to make a rectangle surface. I just love it, it's in excellent condition and I got it in a garage sale, it's very sturdy. I had found on the internet a site which sells these ironing board as I was looking for a cover, I cannot find it anymore. Maybe if you search the net you might be able to find it. I finally had to make my own cover but I would not get rid of this ironing board for a million.....well maybe LOL
