Mother's Day, like a lot of other holidays, seems to be another opportunity for disapointment in some families. My only dtr doesn't live nearby so it's kind of a sad day for me not to have her and the grandsons around. My husband is one of those who do not give a present because "you're not my mother". He is normally a very sweet person but on this particular day, he is a pill. So...this Mother's Day I will go to church and partake in the lovely music program after the service then will take myself on a little hike. Nothing like getting out in nature to give a new perspective.
