Boy do I second that!

I have been pondering my existence recently and came to realize that the old saying: "Anything worth doing is worth doing right" may not be what beginner quilters (or even seasoned ones) may want to hear - but it is so true.

All those annoying steps in the block preparation - whether it be starching, or pressing, or squaring up - make final assembly so much easier and lead to a better end product.
