Glad you find it useful donfel...not sure which other tutorial I was referring to but I did post a picture of the traditional way to crazy on another post, I didn't bookmark it but heres a copy of the picture, this is done by using a foundation fabric or stabilizer then just overlaying each piece and topstitching using fancy stitches if you have them if not just use zig zag or satin stitch
