Here is part 3 of my keychain class. This is my version of a Trip Around the World. You can use this method of construction for any size quilt block but for this purpose we are making a 3 1/2" quilt block.
First you need to cut strips of your chosen fabrics. I used 4 differant fabrics.
You need to cut
1 strip of dark blue 8 1/4' x 1 1/4"
1 strip of dark blue 6 1/4" x 1 1/4"
1 strips of med blue 8 1/4" x 1 1/4"
1 strip of med blue 6 1/4" x 1 1/4"
1 strip of red or pink 8 1/4" x 1 1/4"
1 strip of red or pink 6 1/4" x 1 1/4"
Next cut each strip into 1 1/4" sections
Light blue and dk blue strips joined Light blue and medium blue strips joined

Cut in to 1 1/4" sections
