Hi!! I am so excited to be part of the Quilting Board community. I grew up sewing my own clothes, and when I was around 25 that turned into making quilts. It took me almost 20 years to finish my first one (yikes) but now I finish a few small ones every year. I made baby quilts for everyone at work--it helped me learn new techniques. Now I make lap quilts for my friends' major birthdays--any that end in a "0" (50, 60, etc.)--and am starting to make quilts for a new Project Linus group that is just starting up in my area. I love checking the Quilting Board every morning to get inspiration for the day. You guys are great! :thumbup:
