BORDERS;
Here I am going with simple borders. Think of borders as the mat and frame around a picture. I always try to cut my borders down the length of the fabric, and when purchasing a fabric I think may work for a border I purchase 1 1/2 – 3 yards. I like to add a minimum of two borders; this first one I usually cut 1 ½ inches wide and the second varies; we can go back to this closer to when needed.
