my mom has an old treadle singer that my father converted to electric yrs. ago. Guess my daughter got dibs on it when my mom dies, and she doesn't even sew!! And I bought my great grandmother's sewing machine for $20 on my dad's uncle's auction 40 yrs. ago but it is in my mom's attic and I have no room to bring it "home".
