I thought they would be cute to place around the border of a baby quilt until I thought about how much work it would be to blanket stitch around all those small curves. They really aren't made for needle turn. The stars and trees are small to begin with and if they were turned they would lose their shape. Sewing two together and letting the edge get raggy sounds like a good use. Just have to figure out how to use those for something besides a garland. Sure not buying any more die cut shapes. better to make applique shapes and have control and enough fabric for a turned edge. Thank you for all of your suggestions and ideas. Gerry
