This quilt filled two goals...my completed April UFO and I finished for Mother's Day! Yay! My DMIL loves her black cat, Alley. I found the panel used in this quilt several years ago and had the top done a couple of years. Was so excited when I found the black cat fabric used in the border and "Meow" fabric too. The colors used were inspired by the color in the cat panels. Finally got it quilted and presented it yesterday to her. I presented my Mom with a quilt yesterday too (I posted it last month as my completed March UFO). They both loved their quilts. It was such fun to see the surprise on both of their faces. Made me really happy!
