I dodn't have a single favorite free online pattern. I do however have a favorite spot to go for free patterns. I love to go to Quilter's Cache (
http://quilterscache.com/) whenever I need inspiration and a pattern. I have made many of her blocks and one of these days I am going to make a blanket out of them.
