For the last two years, we have lived in a little (crappy) trailer that seems to be sucking the life out of me while we are waiting to be able to build a house. I can clean it and clean it, you blink and it's cluttered again. With the arrival of my Baby Girl a year ago, it has worsened exponentially! Last night I had a small meltdown. I have been struggling to keep our bills up to date (since being off on maternity and then returning only part time has made things difficult) but things get lost regularly in this vaccuum black hole of a trailer and I realized that I forgot to pay several bills somehow last month. In discussing with my husband some ways to solve these recurring problems, the biggest solution is, of course to declutter. Right now the only real storage space in our house is taken up by my fabric, books and magazines. The determination was that they need to go. It's all about priorities...sadly, my hubby's priorities differ from mine. I am allowed to keep only one tote in the house to hold WIP's. I am really sad that I won't have easy access to my beautiful fabrics anymore!
I know that none of you can help in any way shape or form, but I am just looking to vent and maybe have a little pity party for a minute. :(
Hope you all have a nice day Ladies and Gents...I am off to purge my stash.

I know how you feel, I have been living with my mother for 6.5 years until I could move to my place. I have yarn, fabric and some of my books in storage. I am finally moving to my place to begin getting it into livable shape in the next two weeks. I am sooo excited. I will finally have privacy and room for my stuff eventually. It will take me some time to get to the point where I can move all my craft stuff home. But at least I will finally have a place to cut and sew. I will at least be able to move it from the storage building so it is closer to me and I will have easy access to it.

Finally, my patience is paying off and someday yours will as well. Look on the bright side you have time to plan the perfect sewing room for when you finally build. Most of all enjoy the process -- my sewing room has changed several times over the last 4 or 5 years as my requirements have evolved.

Good Luck!
