Well today was working on cutting some fabric and just happened to turn it over. there was a portion missing from one corner so I took a closer look. Well low and behold, the paper backing was peeling off. So I just peeled it the rest of the way. Which is what you were supposed to do after you bought the stupid thing. So lets just say that I am now feeling really foolish all these years. Good thing I have never purchased another square ruler that size. Anyone else do this
too?   :XD:
Ohmygoodness, is that supposed to come off? I bought it a few years ago, same darn thing. And I just noticed a few weeks ago that it is supposed to peel off! I have just been too busy to unpeel it. Hey, guess what? My husband broke his arm in February, had surgery, a plate, eight screws and yesterday we had an appt with the physical therapist before seeing the doctor. My husband's name was called and we went into the room where they make the casts, the molds, wrap the owie and stuff and there hanging on the wall was an Olfa Rotary Cutter - 45 mm. And I am thinking - what the heck is a 45 mm Olfa Rotary cutter doing there. I didn't ask, because I didn't want to sound stupid, so I just figured it out --- it is used for cutting strips for making those plaster of paris casts, or whatever, I think! I would wonder if someone isn't cutting strips for a quilt in their spare time in an Orthopedic Clinic!!!! But after sitting waiting for almost an hour, it got the juices flowing and I couldn't wait to get home and cut a bunch of 2-1/2" binding strips. Is that the way the rest of my life is going to be? See something that pertains to quilting and I go off in a totally different world? Gosh I hope so!!!!! Edie
