It's always nice to have a spare machine and it doesn't have to be a lot of $$$$! Just what you can afford or want in a machine. I have 4, all older machines and use them all for different things! My favorite is my 50 yr. old White in a cabinet, just straight stitching on it, but I have other machine for the fancy stuff I never use, lol!! I hope your baby is feeling better and humming along merrily soon!
