My husband bought me the Janome 6600P, last month, and I love it. Check it out, there is nothing cheap about it, and when I quilt, it does not move...another important factor for me. And it is not heavy, or bulky to carry.
Also, it is very quiet, even for the speed. I like the high speed, I do not like a slow machine, because I did industrial sewing, for many years. My husband even commented on how quiet it is.
