Why not just make a past of butter and corn starch, and slowly blend milk into it...stirring while heating....., S&P to taste........and stir in cooked, drained chopped spinach..couldn't be easier.....

if you like a cheesy taste, stir in shredded cheese of choice before adding the spinach....yum !
