I still haven't finished a quilt that I started about 15 years ago. It is a hand pieced kaleidoscope. Am tired of working on it in fits & starts and am considering having someone else finishing the quilting process. Then I tell myself that I need to finish it so that it will mean more to whoever inherits it. It is a beautiful quilt - queen size.
Hang in there. Perhaps work on your quilt a little every day. Then work on other projects also that you can finish quickly - baby quilts, lap throws, etc. By doing this, you will be much more satisfied.
