How do you do it? Does it ever take you forever? I bet you don't let yourself buy for quilts you may never get to.
let yourself start something else. I started a tote bag - granted with a lot of pockets and stuff - but still just a tote bag - after my brother died several years ago, and I was just too distracted to finish it. Luckily, I had a friend who finished it for me. I've been sewing for many years, so there was no reason I shouldn't have been able to finish it - but those were unsual circumstances - just like yours. Put the queen quilt away for a while and make a table runner, or lap quilt - something really easy. You'll get back to it. It's not going anywhere - it doesn't eat anything - so don't keep yourself from moving ahead with your quilting because of an overwhelming project. You'll feel like it someday.
