Give it a try...and once you've made one...look out. I'm a purse nut and am always looking for a new one to make. Have a closet full. LOL At my quilt shop they are asking where's the new purse. They have asked me to do a show. LOL
My advice is to make something simple like a tote purse. It doesn't require a lot thinking or is hard to do. Look on different sites for simple purses and get going.
