Ok, Ok, I must fess up! the *roller* thingy as I was calling it! is actually the bobbin winder engager! One is in the up position on one machine and the other is in the down position of the other! So all is fine! I can honestly say I feel silly, but it has been some time since working with an older machine as this! Thanks for looking and giving your thoughts! Sharon :)
