Although there appears to be no design to the pillow cases they seem to have just the right color of green to help set the quilt off even more. I want to make some pillow shams to go with everything. I have some extra of the rose material from the back & may use it somehow. I like the color of the pillowcases & may try find a similar green. I wish I had more of the triangle green material but unfortunately I didn't get enough. I just thought the pillowcases would look better than the head board of the bed. LOL
