I had my bladder pinned up the old fashioned way when I had my hysterectomy. I told the Dr. I wanted everything done he could do while he was in there! It was very painful and I was sore much longer then with just a hysterectomy but I think the bladder surgery is much less invasive now. The good thing is I can laugh and sneeze with no worries! My bladder hasn't dropped a hair and it's been over 20 years.
