Canmitch1971, I have the Janome 6600 and I just posted on the Janome yahoo group that I can't reach my knee lift at all, unless I totally shift my body. How did your husband improvise it? Thanks, Sarah in CA

They have improved some of the things that bugged me with the 6500 like the knee pedal to raise and lower the foot is now adjustable. My knee did not reach it before until my husband improvised it. There are so many more stitches and different things you can do with it. I am still learning. The lady who owns the LQS where I got it is getting one too in a couple of weeks. When she gets hers, she will give me a better lesson on it once she gets to know hers better. There is a video tape to watch also.
