You are suppose to do that on every quilt. I have a wall hanging that I did in the early 90s. I just noticed a quilting mistake on mine too. LOL
If you haven't noticed it before now, it is ok. Looks great to me, I would have never noticed.
Someday I may take it down and fix it, but probably not.
