A friend who makes rag quilts said she washed one in a regular machine (for the 1st wash) and it clogged up the plumbing. She suggested taking it to a laundromat for the first run. Just wondering what you did and if you had any troubles.

I clogged up a washer once with a rag vest, I always take my "rag" creations to the laudery mat.
