I still remember one I saw many years ago. The owners had made a
framed wall display of 3 old hankies, with granny glasses, a pair of old
fragile white leather gloves, a long, long hat pin and a long cigarette
holder among other things!! This turned out lovely, and it was titled
"Mamma's Memories" in faded embroidery on faded blue material.
I hope to make one of these some day with my own Grandma's stuff..
granny glasses, corn cob pipe (I ain't kidding here!) a piece of her old,
sun bleached bonnet she wore gardening, etc. That will bring back the
memories for myself and dozens of first cousins.
