Best Beer Roast
3# or so chuck roast (browned and cut into fairly large chunks.
Put in slow cooker or crockpot. Add 1 packet of onion soup mix (dry) and 1 packet of Italian Seasoning mix (dry).
Pour 1 can of beer over this and cook on high 4 hours or med. to low 6-7 hours.
Thicken the juice a bit with flour.
Hubby loved it over noodles and I had it with mashed potatoes. Think I will add a bit of sour cream to the gravy next time. I did not use any seasoning except salt and pepper when I browned the meat.
