OK, I came home from the auction with BOTH sewing machines.. How can you leave them there when they go for so little. I got a Red Eye Treadle for $20. and a Little Black portable electric for $12. The serial number on the little black one is A31C3227 I didnt find any with double letters in the online list. Anyone know how to look this one up? It is not a full size, more like a 3/4 size machine. and there is no foot pedal nor any place to plug one in that I can see. It has a dome or bent wood top. And underneath the machine I found 6 thimbles. One gold, two silver and the rest regular steel.
Any info on the weird serial number would be appreciated.
