I had trouble initially too. I will assume that you have power point installed in your computer. I also have Norton for security. What I do when I click on the attachment, is to select Save File. Don't worry, you don't need to complete the save. Norton then checks for virues and the Download box remains open. I click on the file again and it immediately opens with no problem.
