Rachel, i D'Marief I see a fabric I really like, I usually buy 3yds.That way, I have enough to put in a quilt and some left over for my stash.This method has worked out fine for me. If it's a real pretty fabric, I know right off,I'll come up with other things for it.Some times just small throw pillows to go on the bed, with the quilt I made. D'Marie
