I am not an expert by any means, but there is a product called Retayne that you add to the wash that is supposed to fix the color. Maybe this would work for you. I got it at my LQS but it is available online also.

That was my suggestion too. I had that happen to an old indigo die piece of fabric and I didn't realize that the prewash was not enough until it turned my fingers blue when I sewed on the binding. You're lucky you caught it early.
