He went inside of a tent and tried to carry off a child that was about 2 years old that was napping. The mother heard something, turned around to see what it was and started screaming. The bear turned loose of the baby. It was unharmed. So you guys that have bears you need to be more cautious. Never feed them! Yes I like to ride up on the mountain and take pictures of them but thats it!
In Northern Mich they are prevelent at the landfills, but the locals KNOW not to feed at home.
Alas, many campers do not understand why the bear precautions are in place.
