Thank you! As for what I'm going to make. Well, the fabrics in the first picture (at least some of them) are going to be used in another Bargello for my daughter April. She wants me to design hers though, not make a Swish! She had picked out colors before but they were all dark. I figured I would get some lights in her colors to go in the Bargello, If she liked any of them. (She liked them all.)
I need a break from the bargello right now though, but I will be making it in the near future.
A lot of them are just yellows, oranges and purples that I don't have many of. I try to buy those colors when I see them IF I like them. Then there are the marbled blenders. I need those alot and these are either colors I'm almost out of, or colors I liked and didn't have. The rest was just too pretty not to buy. It will just build up my stash.
I counted them and there are 50 new pieces! That is way too many, as I didn't really need all of it. I am grounded now.
(Self-imposed.) But, I got an email from the quilt shop tonight. (Yeah, the one in Humboldt, where they are going to buy 6 of my patterns to start with, to sell in their store, if you hadn't heard.) Anyways, I have to take the patterns up there.
So, I get this email tonight saying "Memorial Day Sale", Saturday, 25% off all material, including the new stuff,
Magazines 25 to 50% off, and an extra 10% off all sale merchandise. I will probably need to deliver the patterns on Sat. (They had this beautiful 'true' red Moda textured fabric that I really want, and I can't find it anywhere else. Not even close to the same color anyways.) I will probably need to be blindfolded then, as alot of their fabric is like $4.25 less 25%!!!
Anyways, I will put it in my stash and create some totally awesome quilt with it someday. ROFL Sounds good anyways!
