Hi, My name is Cindy. I live in W. PA and have enjoyed sewing and crafting for years. However, quilting is very new to me. I have been browsing this site and am so very inspired and impressed and I feel very inept at this point. My grandmother sewed quilts and did everything by hand. I can remember her gathering her materials from discarded clothes and cutting them up into little squares and shapes. She would sit in her rocking chair and make the patches, put them together and hand quilt. They were truly amazing quilts. Her eyesite was very poor, she told me she could "feel" the way they looked. If I can put together one quilt that looks half as good I will be very happy. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Cindy
