I actually don't worry about the nap of the minky.....I have used the pink poodle minky.....the furry minky...plush minky and several others....(we love minky around here) and the thing about the nap is that with all of the furs and such...the longer ones you don't see alot of the quilting because the fur covers it up...and I do stretch the minky (somewhat) when I put it on the stretch frame.
I have never used polar fleece on the long arm..I rarely use polar fleece.....I have a few peices here that I keep telling myself to use..LOL. I bought them because they had veggie tales on them..but now they came out with a fabric line...SHEESH!
